Jamming detection in wireless sensor networks

Anotace:

Cílem práce je navrhnout a naprogramovat modul (pro operační systém TinyOS), který bude detekovat útok úmyslného rušení (jamming attack). Dílčím cílem je implementace tří typů útočníka (deceptive jammer, random jammer a reactive jammer) a zjištění efektivity naimplementovaného modulu (počet false positives, počet false negatives) v simulátoru TOSSIM pro každý typ útočníka. Text práce musí zahrnovat popis tří typů útočníka, použité detekční techniky, její implementace a výsledků simulace.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to design and programme the module (for an operating system called TinyOS), which will detect the jamming attack. The partial aim is an implementation of three types of the jammer (the deceptive jammer, the random jammer and the reactive jammer), and finding the effectiveness of implemented module (number of the false positives, number of the false negatives) in the simulator TOSSIM for every type of the jammer. The text of the thesis has to include the description of three types of the jammer, used detected technology, its implementation and the results of the simulation.
