První pojednává o životě, díle a kompozičních technikách tohoto skladatele v jednotlivých obdobích jeho tvorby. Druhá část je věnovaná samotné Sonátě a zabývá se otázkami její formy a harmonie. Diploma thesis "Leo Brouwer – Sonata for solo guitar" is divided into two main parts. The first one deals with the life, the opus and the compositional techniques of the composer in particular periods of his work.
