Abstract:
Cílem bakalářské práce „Organizace sázkových trhů“ je porovnání, na základě relevantní literatury, struktury a fungování dvou základních typů sazkových trhů (parimutuel a fixed odds trh). Jako hlavní nástroj porovnání byla vybrána tržní anomálie nazvaná favorite-longshot bias, při které favoriti (outsideři) vyhrávají (méně) častěji než je předpokládáno z tržních kurzů. Abstract:
The aim of my thesis “Organization of betting markets” is comparison of structure and functioning of two main types of betting markets (parimutuel and fixed-odds market) on the basis of relative literature. The favorite-longshot bias, market anomaly, was chosen as a main instrument for a comparison when the favorites (outsiders) win more (less) often than market odds assume.
