The Economic Efficiency Evaluation Project of the Selected Company's Investment Plan

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti investičního záměru ve vybrané společnosti. V rámci analytické části práce bylo nejprve využito analýzy finančního zdraví společnosti spolu s analýzou vnitřního a vnějšího prostředí. V tomto smyslu byly v práci použity metody finanční analýzy, SWOT analýzy a pomocí benchmarkingu byla společnost také srovnána s nejbližší konkurencí ve Zlínském kraji. Na základě poznatků z analytické části práce byl společnosti navrhnut projekt investičního záměru spolu s možnostmi jeho financování. Investiční projekt byl následně podroben výpočtům ekonomické efektivnosti pomocí metod hodnocení investic. Na provedený výzkum v projektové části práce dále navazovala riziková analýza investičního záměru, která shrnula rizikové faktory investice. Hlavním přínosem této práce je tedy navržení investičního záměru a posouzení jeho efektivnosti vedoucí k rozšíření podnikatelských aktivit společnosti a upevnění jejího postavení na trhu.

Abstract:

This Diploma thesis evaluates the economic efficiency of the chosen company and its investment plan. The analytic part describes the company's financial health as well as its internal and external environment. Due to previous analyses, SWOT analysis and various financial analysis methods were applied in the thesis. Moreover, the company was compared to the competition in the Zlin region while using benchmarking. Based on the knowledge from the analytical part, the investment plan, simultaneously with the financing possibilities, was designed for the company. In the practical part, the economic efficiency of the investment plan was calculated while applying various investment valuation methods. In addition, the investment plan was subjected to the risk analysis. The investment plan design and its efficiency assessment are therefore the main purpose of this paper. As a result, it can contribute to the business activities expansion and furthermore, it may strengthen the company's position on the market as well.
