The position of French language on the labour market in Olomouc region

Abstract:

The purpose of the bachelor thesis is to define the position of the French language and its use in the labour market of the Olomouc region. The theoretical part describes the development of the labour market in the Czech Republic and the analysis of the labour market in the Olomouc Region. International organisations supporting foreign relations of Czech companies are presented. At the end of the chapter, the teaching of foreign languages, especially French, is briefly described. The empirical part presents the results of the interviews of the participating companies and their analysis. The aim of the thesis is to point out the lack of French speakers in Czech society and at the same time to offer possible solutions.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce má za účel definovat pozici francouzského jazyka a jeho využití na pracovním trhu Olomouckého kraje. Teoretická část popisuje vývoj trhu práce v České republice a analýzu trhu práce v Olomouckém kraji. Jsou zde představeny mezinárodní organizace na podporu zahraničních vztahů českých firem. Na závěr kapitoly je stručně popsaná výuka cizích jazyků, zejména francouzštiny. V empirické části jsou představeny výsledky rozhovorů účastněných firem a jejich analýza. Cílem práce je poukázat na nedostatek francouzsky mluvících v české společnosti a zároveň nabídnout vhodná řešení.
