Tree holes dweling by bats in an alluvial forest during growing season

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na osídlení stromových dutin netopýry v lužním lese během vegetační sezóny. Samotné pozorování proběhlo v 14denních intervalech od května do srpna roku 2016. Získaná data byla následně hodnocena v programu Statistica 12. V území nebyla zjištěna preference netopýrů k úkrytům odlišných parametrů. Byla zde zjištěna potenciálně vysoká nabídka úkrytů vhodných právě pro netopýry. Většina z nich však během pozorování netopýry osídlena nebyla. Při výletech z dutin zde byly prokázány 4 druhy netopýrů, a to Nyctalus noctula, Myotis daubentonii, Pipistrellus pygmaeus a N. leisleri.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the use of tree holes by bats in the floodplain forest during the vegetation season. The observation itself took place at 14 daily intervals from May to August 2016. The obtained data were subsequently evaluated by program Statistica 12. There weren´t detected preferences of bats for shelters of different parameters in the area. There was a pottentially high offer of shelters suitable for bats. Most of the holes weren´t occupied by bats during the observation. During leaving bats from the cavities there were recorded four bat species, i.e. Nyctalus noctula. Myotis daubentonii, Pipistrellus pygmaeus and N. leisleri.
