Abstract:
První izoláty Candida dubliniensis byly vyčleněny z druhu C. albicans a popsány jako nový samostatný druh v roce 1995. Nejčastěji bývá tato kvasinka spojována s případy orálních kandidóz. Nicméně, byly popsány případy invazivních infekcí způsobených C. dubliniensis. Také u ní bývá popisován vyšší potenciál rozvinutí rezistence k flukonazolu a jiným azolovým preparátům. Abstract:
Candida dubliniensis has been described as a new species in 1995. The most often it is isolated from oral candidasis. However, cases of invasive infections caused by this species has already been descibed. C. dubliniensis is more likely to acquire resistance to fluconazole and other azoles. 237 isolates were identified as C. dubliniensis.
