The importance of the United Nations Security Council today

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to define the relevance of the United Nations Security Council today by comparing two time periods through a comparative analysis. The thesis is divided into three chapters and assumes the identification of factors that indicate the present position of this body. The result of the thesis is to use the information obtained to define the current relevance of the Security Council.

Abstract:

Cieľom práce je pomocou komparačnej analýzy vymedziť význam Bezpečnostnej rady Organizácie Spojených národov v súčasnosti, na základe porovnania dvoch časových období. Práca je rozdelená do troch kapitol a predpokladá zistenie faktorov, ktoré indikujú dnešnú pozíciu tohto orgánu. Výsledkom práce je pomocou získaných informácii vymedziť súčasný význam Bezpečnostnej rady.
