Orality and Writtenness: Czech Theory and Practice

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je mluvenost a psanost. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř částí. V první části se věnujeme stručné charakteristice pojmů, jako je například jazyk, řeč či text. Ve druhé části se soustředíme na definici mluvenosti a psanosti, dále pak zkoumáme jejich prostředky, rysy a výskyt v komunikačních situacích. Zároveň se zabýváme i vázaností obou entit k monologičnosti/dialogičnosti a (ne)spisovnosti. V třetí části práce předkládáme historický přehled zkoumání mluvenosti a psanosti v české lingvistice. Poslední část je věnována autentickému jazykovému materiálu.

Abstract:

The topic of this Bachelor thesis is orality and writtenness. The work is divided into four parts. The first part is dedicated to the brief characterization of terms as language, speech or text. The second part is focused on the definition of the orality and writtenness, further, it studies their resources, features and the occurrence in the communication situations. At the same time, the dependence of both entities on monologic/dialogic signs and (non)standard form is dealt with. The third part provides the historical overview of the research of orality and writtenness in the Czech linguistics. The last part is dedicated to the authentic lingual material.
