Methods of work with client in low-treshold facilities for children and youth

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se zabývám metodami užívanými při práci s klienty v nízkoprahových zařízeních pro děti a mládež. Vybranou problematiku nejprve zvažuji z teoretické perspektivy a následně ji empiricky zkoumám v nízkoprahovém klubu Půda. V teoretické části práce se zaměřuji na dvě metody sociální práce užívané v nízkoprahových klubech. Jedná se o krizovou intervenci a poradenství. Následně představuji specifika nízkoprahových zařízení pro děti a mládež. Na teoretickou část práce navazuji částí empirickou, jejímž cílem je ukázat, jak jsou metody práce s klientem uplatňovány v praxi konkrétního nízkoprahového klubu. Pro výzkumné šetření jsem zvolila výzkumný design případové studie, metodou sběru dat se stalo zúčastněné pozorování, polostrukturovaný rozhovor a analýza dokumentů. Závěr práce je věnován přednesení výzkumných zjištění o průběhu a využívání sociálních služeb nízkoprahového klubu Půda.

Abstract:

In this thesis I am dealing with the methods used when working with clients in low-threshold facilities for children and youth. At first I contemplate chosen issues from a theoretical perspective and then examine them empirically in the low-threshold club Půda. The theoretical part focuses on two methods of social work used in low-threshold clubs. It is a crisis intervention and counseling. Subsequently I introduce the specifics of low-threshold facilities for children and youth. The theoretical part is followed by empirical part, which goal is to show how the methods of work with clients are applied in practice in specific low-threshold club. For my research inquiry I chose the research design of case study, data collection method was participant observation, semi-structured interviews and document analysis. The conclusion is dedicated to the presentation of research findings of development and use of social services in low-threshold club Půda.
