The subject of interest of the presented thesis is the ethical issue of the prolongation strategy and the delayed death, dysthanasia. The first part of the work is devoted to the concept of dying and death in contemporary society, drawing attention mainly to the gradual extinction of natural death, which is being replaced by dysthanasia.
