The Role of the Individual in Marx's Analysis of Society: Conceptual and Normative Aspects

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zkoumá postavení a roli jednotlivce a jeho vztah ke společnosti ve filosofii Karla Marxe. Práce bude rozdělena na tři hlavní části, které nahlížejí na Marxovu teorii společnosti a roli lidského jedince v ní ze tří hlavních perspektiv. V první části tak bude provedena analýza Marxovy teorie jakožto teorie kolektivistické, ve druhé části bude Marx pojímán jako individualista. Třetí část pak bude syntézou předchozích dvou stanovisek. Autorka v této závěrečné části bakalářské práce odpoví na základní otázku stanovenou v úvodu a pokusí se naplnit cíle zde stanovené.

Abstract:

The thesis analyzes the role of the individual and the relation of human being with society in philosophy of Karl Marx. The text will be divided into three parts that will look upon the Marx´s theory of society and the role of individual from three main perspectives. In the first part, the analyses of Marx´s theory will be performed from the collectivistic point of view. In the second part, Marx will be understood as individualist. The last part will be the synthesis of previous parts where the author will respond on the research question and will try to fulfill goals from the introduction of the thesis.
