Abstract:

Pro bakalářskou práci jsem si zvolila téma „Ilustrace, Egypťan Sinuhet – Mika Waltari“. Zabývám se v ní, jak je již patrné z názvu práce, ilustrací na vybraná témata z 15. kapitol této knihy. Děj knihy Egypťan Sinuhet, finského autora Mika Toimi Waltari, který nikdy nebyl v Egyptě, přesto byl tak okouzlen dálkou a exotikou, že zasadil děj svého románu právě do Egypta roku 1300 před naším letopočtem, vypráví o osudech faraonova lékaře Sinuheta. Odráží se zde mnohem více, než jen kritika vlády a života bohatých i chudých tehdejší doby. Je znát silný přesah až do dob zcela současných, přestože kniha vyšla již v roce 1946. Vybrala jsem si ji proto, že v knize chybí ilustrace, a je jen na mě, jak já vidím děj tohoto příběhu. Dále jsem uvedla stručnou historii ilustrace, krátký autorův životopis a seznam jeho děl. Práci jsem doplnila částí rozhovoru s jeho dcerou Satu. Na závěr jsem popsala vlastní výtvarnou práci (techniku a zpracování).

Abstract:

For bachelor thesis I chose the theme "The illustrations Sinuhet Egyptian - Mika Waltari. I am dealing with, in it, as is already evident from the title work, illustrations of 15 selected themes chapters of this book. Egyptian Sinuhet story books, Toimi Finnish author Mika Waltari, who has never been in Egypt, but he was so enchanted distance and exoticism that planted a story of his novel was to Egypt in 1300 BC, tells of the fate of Pharaoh physician Sinuhe. Reflected here more than a criticism of the government and the lives of rich and poor that time. To know the strong overlap to fully present time, even though the book was published already in 1946. I chose it because the book lacks illustrations, and is up to me, as I see the plot of the story. Furthermore, I said a brief history of illustration, the author's life and a short list of his works. Work I added the part interview with his daughter, Satu. Finally, I describe his own art work (technique and processing).
