Cultural Heritage of Chalets in Giant Mountains and Its Implication for Regional Development

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá horskými boudami v Krkonoších. Cílem práce bylo zdůraznit významnost bud jako kulturního dědictví a jejich roli v cestovním ruchu. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části práce jsou na základě odborné literatury představeny jednotlivé kulturologické a další pojmy, s kterými práce tematicky souvisí. Dále je uveden historický vývoj a příčiny vzniku budní zástavby, vyhodnocení nenahraditelnosti bud pro místní obyvatele v průřezu několika staletí, vývoj turismu a srovnání s dnešní dobou, kdy jsou tyto stavení chápány jako součást cestovního ruchu. V empirické části práce je cestovní ruch představen v kontextu životního prostředí, jsou uvedeny možnosti využívání a péče o boudy a s tím spjatá možnost finanční podpory krajů. Na zjištěné klady a nedostatky v kontextu horských bud a cestovního ruchu jsou nalezena možná řešení s ohledem na trvale udržitelný turismus.

Abstract:

The work is concerned with chalets in Giant mountains. The main goal of the work was to show the importance of the chalet as a cultural heritage of the region and their role in turism. The text is divided into two parts : 1st theoretical, 2 nd empirical. In the first part of the work, I introduced the cultural and other terms, which are based on scientific literature and are closely connected with my work. After the introduction, I pointed out the historici progressionand reasons for chalet setlement in the mountains. I also wanted to emphasized the fact of irreplaceableness of chalets for local citizens trough the centuries, progression of travel movement in the region which I comprered with modern point of view of the turism. In the second part, my work is concentrated on the travel movement as a part of the environment policy. I mentioned the possibilities of utilization and management of the chalets which is closely connected with government dotation. In the final part, The possible solutions are found for the sustainableturism according to the advantages and disadvantages of the chalet management in the mountains ties of using.
