Abstract:

This thesis L´image de la société française par rapport au Splendeurs et misères des courtisanes de Balzac (Image of the French society based on The Harlot High and Low from Balzac) is focusing on analysis of society in first fall of 19th century by deep elaboration of Honoré de Balzac´s masterpiece The Harlot High and Low. Five areas such as Passion, Power, Intrigues, Money and Corruption were chosen according to its importance in the book itself and they are forming main crucial points of this elaboration.

Abstract:

Práce L´image de la société française par rapport au Splendeurs et misères des courtisanes de Balzac se zabývá rozborem francouzské společnosti první poloviny 19. století. Tento rozbor se opírá o knihu Lesk a bída kurtizán slavného francouzského spisovatele, který se ve svých dílech pokoušel podat reálný obraz své doby. Na základě situací popsaných v knize jsme vybrali pět témat, Vášeň, Moc, Peníze, Intriky a Korupce, kterým se naše analýza věnuje.
