Abstract:
The thesis deals with optimism as a school of thought in Leonard Bernstein's operetta Candide, the main point of the thesis is demonstrated by comparison to the original version by Voltaire. Taking into consideration the historical background and analyzing the separate pieces of music contained in the operetta.
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá pojetím optimismu v operetě Candide Leonarda Bernsteina, hlavním cíl teze vychází ze srovnání původní Voltairovy verze s Bernsteinovou. V potaz je bráno dobové pozadí vzniku a hudební čísla obsažená v operetě.
