Drugs influencing vegetative nervous system

Abstract:

Vegetativní nervový systém je součástí nervové soustavy, která není ovlivnitelná vůlí. Je tvořen dvěma oddíly parasympatickou a sympatickou soustavou, které fungují jako celek. Sympatická i parasympatická nervová vlákna paralelně inervují většinu vnitřních orgánů. Intenzita a charakter působení těchto vláken určuje výsledný stav orgánů. Činnost vegetativního nervstva lze ovlivnit léčivy. Parasympatickou část lze stimulovat parasympatotropními látkami a sympatickou část sympatotropními látkami. Oba dva typy látek se dále dělí na další skupiny podle selektivity a typu receptoru, který stimulují, ale obecně je lze rozdělit na potencující sympatomimetika, parasympatomimetika a inhibiční sympatolytika a parasympatolytika. O vegetativním systému obecně a jednotlivých zástupcích těchto skupin pojednává tato bakalářská práce.

Abstract:

Vegetative nervous system is part of the nervous system, which is not affected by volition. It is formed by two sections: the parasympathetic and sympathetic divisions that work as the unit. Sympathetic and parasympathetic nerve fibres impact majority of the internal organs in parallel. Resulting status of an organ is determined by intensity and character of these fibres. Medicaments can influence activity of the vegetative nervous system. Parasympathetic part can be stimulated by parasympathetic substances and sympathetic part can be stimulated by sympathetic substances. Both types of substances are further subdivided into groups according to the selectivity and the type of receptor, which they affect. Generally, they can be divided into potentiating symphatomimetics and parasymphatomimetics and inhibitory sympatholytics and parasymphatolytics. This bachelor thesis is focused on the vegetative nervous system in general and individual representatives of these groups.
