Support options for young adults leaving institutional care

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi podpory mladých dospělých odcházejících z ústavní výchovy. Cílem práce je zmapovat a interpretovat zkušenost mladých dospělých opouštějících ústavní výchovu s možnostmi podpory. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části práce je popsána ústavní výchova, jsou zde definována zařízení pro výkon ústavní výchovy a její legislativní vymezení, dále pak odchod z ústavní výchovy, potíže mladých dospělých spjatých s opouštěním ústavní výchovy, jeho legislativní vymezení a také příprava na opuštění ústavní výchovy. Další kapitola teoretické části práce je zaměřena na vývoj jedince, zejména v prostředí ústavní výchovy. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je pak zaměřena na konkrétní možnosti podpory mladých dospělých opouštějících ústavní výchovu. Empirická část práce obsahuje metodologii výzkumného šetření a prostřednictvím narativně orientovaného výzkumu mapuje a interpretuje zkušenost mladých dospělých, kteří odcházejí z ústavní výchovy s možnostmi podpory.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the opportunities of supporting young adults leaving institutional care. The aim of the work is to map and interpret the experience of young adults leaving institutional care with the opportunities of support. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part of the thesis describes institutional care, there are defined facilities for institutional care and its legislative definition, then leaving institutional care, difficulties of young adults associated with leaving institutional care, its legislative definition and preparation for leaving institutional care. The next chapter of the theoretical part of the work is focused on the development of the individual, especially in the environment of institutional care. The last chapter of the theoretical part is focused on specific opportunities of supporting young adults leaving institutional care. The empirical part of the thesis contains the methodology of research survey and through narratively oriented research maps and interprets the experience of young adults who leave institutional care with the opportunities of support.
