This bachelor thesis deals with emergence, meaning and development cross-border cooperation between Germany and Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis deals with the general, historical and political contexts of these two countries. The creation of euroregions and EU funds are described. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vznikem, významem a vývojem přeshraniční spolupráce mezi Německem a Českem. První část práce se zabývá všeobecnými, historickými a politickými souvislostmi těchto dvou zemí. Popsaný je vznik euroregionů a finanční prostředky Evropské unie.
