Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the Witcher saga by the contemporary Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. His work falls into the literature genre of fantasy, which we are going to examine in this thesis. The main aim of this thesis is to analyse all books from the Witcher saga and to identify the mythological Slavic sources that Andrzej Sapkowski drew from.
