Anotácia:

Magisterská práce je případovou studií, která se zabývá současným územním sporem Izraele a Libanonu ve východním Středomoří spojeným s nedávnými objevy zemního plynu. Práce se soustředí na teorii a metody řešení konfliktu a deskriptivní analýzu vybraného případu. Cílem práce je prozkoumat zda některá z vybraných metod řešení konfliktu byla použita, a která z těchto metod je nejvíce vhodná pro vyřešení sporu mezi Izraelem a Libanonem.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the current dispute between Israel and Lebanon over the territory in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea in light of recent gas discoveries. Its focus is mainly on the theory and methods of conflict resolution and precise descriptive analysis of the present case. This thesis aims to examine if and what methods of conflict resolution have been used to resolve the dispute and what is the most suitable method to do so.
