Hermenegildovo povstání ve světle soudobých pramenů

The Revolt of Hermenegild in the Light of Contemporary Sources
Abstract:
V předkládané diplomové bakalářské práci prezentuji jednu z epizod vizigótských dějin v Hispánii. Konkrétně jde o povstání prince Hermenegilda, které se odehrálo na konci 6. století. Událost líčím na základě čtyř vybraných pramenů (Iohannes Biclarensis, Isidor Sevilský, Řehoř Tourský a papež Řehoř Veliký), tyto komentuji a srovnávám.
Abstract:
In this bachelor's thesis I present one episode of the visigothic history in Hispania. The specific theme is the revolt of prince Hermenegild which took place in the late 6th century. I describe the event on the basis of four representative sources (Iohannes Biclarensis, Isidore of Seville, Gregory of Tours and pope Gregory the Great), these I comment and compare.
