This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and interpretation of Toni Morrison's theory of the so-called "Africanist presence," which the author describes in her book Playing in the Dark: Whiteness and the Literary Imagination. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou a interpretací literární teorie výskytu tzv. "Africanist presence" v dílech bílých amerických autorů, kterou popisuje ve svém díle Playing in the Dark: Whiteness and the Literary Imagination Toni Morrisonová.
