Diplomová práce se věnuje nákladovému nádraží Žižkov a jeho přeměně na kulturní centrum. Představuje jeho charakteristiky, provoz a výstavbu. Dále zkoumá jeho cestu k prohlášení za kulturní památku, se všemi peripetiemi popisuje složité vztahy a zájmy mezi vlastníkem budovy, developery, městskou částí Praha 3, politiky, ale i neziskovou sférou a občanskými iniciativami.
