Práce se zabývá základními metodami hodnocení biodiverzity a simulacemi dat biologických společenstev. Je v ní vymezena biodiverzita jako vlastnost společenstev. Jsou zdůrazněny dva hlavní aspekty biodiverzitních dat, čili kvalita a kvantita. The thesis is contributed to the basic methods used in biodiversity evaluation and to the simulation of community data and its analysis. The concept of biodiversity as a propriety of biological communities is discussed.
