The additional pension insurance within the pension scheme in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Penzijní připojištění v rámci systému důchodového zabezpečení v České republice“ je popis současného nastavení systému důchodového zabezpečení v České republice, a to s důrazem na pilíř penzijního připojištění se státním příspěvkem. V práci jsou nastíněna úskalí a problémy, se kterými se systém potýká, a snahy o jejich řešení. Rozebrána je především reforma představená v únoru 2011. Tato reforma spočívá v zavedení dalšího, kapitálově financovaného, pilíře do systému důchodového zabezpečení v České republice. Zamýšleny jsou však také změny ve schématu penzijního připojištění, na které je taktéž poukázáno. Součástí práce je analýza penzijních fondů působících na trhu v České republice. Na základě zjištěných výsledků je následně diskutována role a postavení penzijního připojištění v případě provedení chystané reformy.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis “The additional pension insurance within the pension scheme in the Czech Republic” is a description of the current setting of the pension scheme in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on the pillar of the additional pension insurance with the state contribution. Pitfalls and problems that the scheme is facing and the efforts to deal with them are outlined in the thesis. Mainly the reform introduced in February 2011 is interpreted. This reform consists in implementing another one, fully funded, a pillar into the pension scheme in the Czech Republic. Changes in the scheme of the additional pension insurance are also considered and highlighted. The thesis also includes an analysis of the pension funds operating in the market in the Czech Republic. On the basis of the discovered results the role and position of the additional pension insurance is discussed in case of the reform in preparation being realized.
