Tato práce se zabývá problematikou amputace na dolních končetinách. Teoretická část popisuje indikace amputací, větší pozornost je věnována diabetu mellitu. Dále jsou popsány typy amputací, chirurgické postupy a jejich komplikace. Závěr teoretické části obsahuje informace o protetice. This work reviews the topic of lower limb amputations. The theoretical part describes indications for amputations with closer look at diabetes mellitus.
