Brass music Brněnská Moravěnka, contribution to the development of brass bands in Moravia.

Abstract:

Dechová hudba patří k důležité součásti české národní identity. V některých národopisných oblastech ji lze vnímat jako charakteristický rys místního kulturního života a nedílnou součást etnokulturních tradic. Jednou z moravských kapel, na kterou by nemělo být zapomenuto, je dnes již neúčinkující dechová hudba Brněnská Moravěnka. Práce je rozdělena do tří rámcových oblastí. První je věnovaná dějinám a vývoji dechové hudby v českých zemích a vlivu estrádní hudby na dechovou hudbu, v druhé části je zmapován vývoj dechové hudby Brněnská Moravěnka od jejího vzniku až do konce jejího působení a třetí část práce je věnována rozhovorům se členy této kapely.

Abstract:

Brass band music is important part of Czech national identity. In some etnographic areas it can be seen as a characteristic feature of the local cultural life and as an integral part of ethnocultural traditions. One of Moravian bands which should not be forgotten is already inactive brass band Brněnská Moravěnka. The bachelor thesis is divided into three framework areas. The first one is dedicated to the history and development of brass music in our country and to the influence of vaudeville music on a brass music, the second part maps the development of brass band music Brno Moravěnka since its inception until the end of its performing and the third part is devoted to interviews with members of the band.
