Print quality of electrophotographics prints technique

Abstract:

Práce byla vypracována za cílem zjistit kvalitu tisku tiskáren od různých výrobců a z různých cenových hladin, kvalit, stáří a pro různá použití. Testy prokázaly, že starší tiskárny nemohou konkurovat novějším modelům tiskáren, které se stále rozvíjí a vylepšují. Při testech byly využity originální tonery a jeden toner neoriginální. Jedním ze sledovaných parametrů byla mechanická odolnost vytištěné vrstvy na papíru, při jeho namáhání. Sledovala se i skutečná rozlišovací schopnost tisku v porovnání s udávaným hodnotami výrobce v rámci několika testů. Byla sledována kvalita reprodukce jednotlivých písmových znaků a jejich čitelnost. Byly shledány závěry, že některé levnější modely tiskáren v některých případech podaly lepší výsledek, než mnohem dražší tiskárny. Všechny tiskárny byly testovány při standardním nastavení kvality tisku s profilem odpovídajícímu použitému tiskovému substrátu.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out the quality of printing of different producers ,various price levels, different quality, age and various usage. Test have shown that the older printers are not able to compete with younger models of printers, which are still evolving and improving. Test used original toners and one unoriginal. One of the monitored parameters was the mechanical resistence of the printed layer on the paper during the process. The real differential ability compared with the manufacturer?s specified values within a few tests was also monitored. The quality of the reproduction of individual font characters and their legibility was also monitored. The conclusion was that some types of cheaper printers had better results than more expensive ones. All of the printers were tested during standard print quality setting with profile corresponding to the print substrate used.
