Na zlepšení kvality a dostupnosti zdravotní péče jsou zaměřeny stávající zdravotní reformy. Podstatnou roli hraje nastavení a dodržování určitých standardů v poskytování zdravotní péče. Zásadní problém lze vysledovat jak ve veřejném zdravotním systému, tak v managementu zdravotnických zařízení, chybějící kontrole a zpětné vazbě.
