Abstract:
Účelem této práce je představit skupinu stínových postav vyskytujících se v dramatu anglické renesance. Tyto postavy mají vyjímečné vlastnosti a funkce, které z nich dělají vyjímečnou skupinu postav. Jejich vlastnosti a funkce budou v této práci do podrobna popsány a zanalyzovány, stejně tak, jako efekt, který tyto postavy mají na vnímání hry publikem, či čtenářem.

The purpose of this thesis is to present the shadow characters as a distinctive class of characters that possess distinctive characteristics which make them oustanding in comparison with other characters that appeared in the Renaissance period.
