The view of fathers on the changes of social relationships after parental leave

Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce s názvem Pohled otců na proměny sociálních vztahů po odchodu na rodičovskou dovolenou se zaměřuje na to, jak otcové při svém pobytu na rodičovské dovolené vnímají podobu aktuálních sociálních vztahů. Práce se ve své teoretické části zaobírá problematikou rodiny, ale také vývojem a specifiky současné podoby otcovství. Tyto proměny propojuje s vnímáním genderových rolí a jejich vymezením. Novodobou odchylku od genderového vymezení sociálních rolí, ve formě rodičovské dovolené využívané otci, poté rozebírá jak po stránce legislativní, tak poukazuje i na možná rizika s tímto fenoménem spojená. Dále také nabízí vhled do problematiky státní, nadstátní i neziskové formy podpory mužů na rodičovské dovolené. Druhá část práce je zaměřena empiricky a jsou zde zkoumány sociální vztahy otce na rodičovské dovolené, jejich proměny a samotný pohled otce na ně. Tato část obsahuje jak metodologický postup, tak interpretaci a analýzu výsledků včetně jejich shrnutí.

Abstract:

This master's thesis titled The view of fathers on the changes of social relationships after parental leave is focused on how fathers perceive the form of current social relationships during their stay on parental leave. The theoretical part deals with issues family, but also with developments and specifics of contemporary paternity. These transformations are linked with the definition and perception of gender roles. This thesis also deals with the recent divergence from the gender dimension of social roles in the form of parental leave used by fathers. Moreover there is discussed the legislative aspect and the possible risks associated with this phenomenon. It also provides insight into state, supranational and non-profit forms of support for men on parental leave. The second part of the thesis is empirically focused and examines the father's social relationships on parental leave and their transformations by the eyes of fathers. This section contains both the methodological procedure, interpretation and analysis of the results, including their summaries.
