Painful menstruation - Dysmenorrhea

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá bolestivou menstruací (dysmenorea). Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části je popsána anatomie vnitřních pohlavních orgánů ženy, fyziologie menstruačního cyklu a také jeho řízení. Dále je zde podrobněji popsána celková problematika dysmenorey a kvalita života právě s bolestivou menstruací. Druhá část bakalářské práce pojednává přímo o tématu bolestivé menstruace - dysmenorey. V praktické části bylo použito kvantitativního průzkumu pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Hlavním cílem průzkumu bylo zjistit, jak respondentky tlumí bolest při menstruaci a zda bolestivou menstruaci mají také matky respondentek. Vedlejším cílem práce bylo zjistit, jakými konkrétními příznaky se dysmenorea u respondentek projevuje a zda respondentky znají i nefarmakologické metody tlumení bolesti. Shrnutí výsledků, které přinesl průzkumný dotazník, je popsáno v textu a znázorněno v grafech.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with "painful menstruation (dysmenorrhea) ". The work is divided into two parts - theoretic and exploratory part. The theoretical part describes the anatomy of the women´s internal genital organs, physiology of the menstrual cycle and it's managment. Futhermore, the overal issue of dysmenorrhoea and the quality of life with menstrual pain are described in more details. The second part of this bachelor's thesis deals directly with the topic of painful menstruation - dysmenorrhea. In the exploratory part the quantitative survey with questionnaire was used. The main goal of the survey was to find out how the respondents supress the pain during menstruation and whether the mothers of respondents also have painful periods. A secondary goal of this thesis was to find out how the specific symptoms of dysmennorrhea are shown and if the respondents also know non-pharmacological methods of pain relief. The summary of the results produced by the survey questionnaire are described in the text and shown in graphs.
