Upholstery reconstruction of the 1960s armchair

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou čalounění sedacího nábytku pro jednu osobu. Cílem diplomové práce je vytvoření ucelené analýzy týkající se materiálových možností při výrobě čalouněného nábytku a aplikace těchto poznatků k identifikaci původně použitých materiálů a taktéž k navrhnutí řešení vlastní rekonstrukce. Součástí práce je fyzická realizace rekonstrukce čalounění hovorového křesla.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of single seat furniture piece upholstery. The aim of this thesis is to create a comprehensive analysis of the material options in the production of upholstered furniture and its application to the identification of the materials which were originally used in the particular furniture piece. It is also used in proposal of a solution for the reconstruction itself. Realization of upholstery reconstruction of the chair is also part of the diploma thesis.
