Socio-ekonomic consequences of project implementation in regional development

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na porovnání ekonomické efektivnosti a sociálního přínosu dvou již realizovaných projektů revitalizace brownfields: Rekonstrukce brněnského objektu strojírny Vaňkovka v rámci celkové revitalizace areálu na obchodní centrum Galerie Vaňkovka a projekt „Ráj permoníků – zpřístupnění kulturní památky těžní věže dolu Kukla v Oslavanech“ v rámci regionálního operačního programu ROP jihovýchod. Práce je členěna do teoretické a praktické části. V teoretické části se práce věnuje vymezení základních pojmů v problematice brownfields a výkladu definice včetně klíčových pojmů. Praktická část představuje oba projekty regenerace, původní stav, technické a technologické řešení obou projektů a dopad na životní prostředí. Dále je zaměřena na konkrétní rozpočtové náklady regenerace každého brownfieldu pomocí dat jako jsou provozní náklady a příjmy včetně ekonomického posouzení návratnosti a finanční udržitelnosti. Dle vlastního dotazníkového šetření zhodnocen socioekonomický pohled veřejnosti jednotlivých projektů regenerovaných brownfields.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the comparison of the economic efficiency and social contribution of already realized projects of the brownfield revitalization: Reconstruction of the Vaňkovka engineering plant in Brno as a part of the total revitalization of the premises to the Vaňkovka Gallery shopping centre and the project “Paradise of the Permians - accessibility to the cultural monument of the mining tower of the Kukla mine in Oslavany ” within the ROP Southeast Regional Operational Program. This thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the definition of basic terms in the field of brownfields and the interpretation of the definition including key terms. The practical part presents both brownfield regeneration projects, the original condition, the technical and technological solution of both projects and their impact on the environment. In addition, it focuses on specific budget costs for the regeneration of each brownfield using the data such as operating costs and revenues, including economic assessment of return and financial sustainability. According to the own questionnaire survey, the socio-economic perspective of the individual projects of regenerated brownfields is evaluated.
