Dispersal of seeds and fruits of selected plant species

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo zkoumání šíření semen a plodů jednotlivých druhů se zaměřením na invazní druhy. Pokus byl založen na dvou pozemcích, na kterých se nainstalovali lapače diaspor se dvěma možnostmi záchytu semen. Pozorování proběhlo od července do prosince 2021. Během pozorování byly provedeny 4 sběry dat z lapačů. Dále byl zhodnocen množství hmyzu uchyceném zároveň se semeny. Během pokusu byl proveden záznam vyskytujících se druhů rostlin na pozemcích a následně byl vytvořen jejich soupis s ohledem na původ a typ rozmnožování. Data z lapačů byly hodnoceny grafy. Počty hmyzu byly hodnoceny analýzou Kruskal-Wallis a znázorněny krabicovým grafem. Z dat bylo vyhodnoceno, že záchyt semen a plodů na folii lapače je efektivnější než záchyt spádem do pytlíku. Dále bylo zjištěno, že na louce se vyskytovalo více druhů původních, zatím co na úhoru převládaly druhy invazní. Ze dominantních invazních druhů byl v lapačích zachycen pouze Aster lanceolatus.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to investigate the spread of seeds and fruits of individual species with a focus on invasive species. The experiment was based on two plots on which diaspora traps with two seed trapping options were installed. The observation took place from July to December 2021. During the observation, 4 data collections from the traps were made. Furthermore, the amount of insects attached at the same time as the seeds was evaluated. During the experiment, the occurrence of plant species on the plots was recorded and subsequently an inventory was made with regard to the origin and type of reproduction. Data from traps were evaluated by graphs. Insect numbers were evaluated by Kruskal-Wallis analysis and plotted on a box plot. From the data, it was evaluated that the capture of seeds and fruits on the trap foil is more effective than the capture by falling into the bag. It was also found that there were more native species in the meadow, while invasive species predominated in the eel. Of the dominant invasive species, only Aster lanceolatus was captured in the traps.
