Single internal market current state and future perspectives

Abstract:

V této diplomové práci se zabývám otázkou současného vnitřního trhu a jeho perspektiv. V úvodu jsou rozebrány historické počátky vnitřního trhu spolu s významnými smlouvami. Dále vymezuji současný stav čtyř základních svobod, volného pohybu zboží, služeb, osob a kapitálu, a snažím se objasnit v čem spočívají jejich největší problémy a přínosy. Následuje výběr ze společných a koordinovaných politik EU, které mají v rámci vnitřního trhu velký význam, např. ochrana spotřebitele a ochrana hospodářské soutěže. Dále se v práci snažím analyzovat zaměstnanost v EU a vymezit současné problémy a jejich řešení. Také rozebírám měnovou unii, její problémy a výhledy. Ke konci práce se zaměřuji na budoucnost vnitřního trhu a řešení zásadních problémů, kterým by mohl čelit.

Abstract:

Thesis focuses on the question of the internal market and its prospects. The introduction describes the historical origins of the internal market, together with major contracts. Furthermore, it defines the current state of the four fundamental freedoms, free movement of goods, services, persons and capital, and trying to explain how the rest of their biggest challenges and rewards. The following chapter is devoted to the description of common and coordinated policies, which are within the internal market of great importance, e.g. consumer protection and competition in the internal market. Furthermore, I try to analyze the EU's employment policy and identify the current problems and their solutions. Consequently, the monetary union with its problems and prospects is analyzed. At the end, I focus on the future of the internal market and address the major challenges that it might face.
