The Perception of Usage of Drama Therapy in the Therapeutic Community of Drug-addicted Clients

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je průzkum subjektivních významů, jež klienti a pracovníci terapeutické komunity spojují s dramaterapií. V práci se věnuji následujícím tématům: závislost na drogách, terapeutická komunita a dramaterapie. Zvolenou metodou sběru dat je polostrukturovaný rozhovor, rozhovory byly vedeny s klienty terapeutických komunit a s pracovníky terapeutických komunit. Výpovědi respondentů jsou interpretovány v rámci analýzy rozhovorů, na kterou navazuje odpověď na hlavní výzkumnou otázku v závěru práce. V závěru práce jsou také uvedena doporučení potenciálních dalších výzkumů v dané oblasti a doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The goal of this master thesis is to investigate the subjective meanings which clients and workers of therapeutic community associate with dramatherapy. In the thesis, I deal with the following topics: drug addiction, therapeutic community and dramatherapy. The chosen method of investigation is the semi-structured interview – the interviews were done with clients and workers of therapeutic communities. The respondents testimonies are interpreted by interview analysis which is followed by the answer to the main research question. In the thesis conclusion, there are also the recommendations for possible further research stated and recommendations for practice given.
