Robust estimates of the location
Abstract:
In this thesis we study robust estimates of the location and simulation on data. At first, we define basic terms as contamination, influence function or breakdown point. Then we deal with M-, L- and R-estimates, define basic characteristics and several examples. Finally, we deal with simulation on real and generated data. We apply some estimates and compare them.
Abstract:
Predmetom tejto práce sú robustné odhady parametra polohy a simulácia na dátach. Najprv sú zadefinované základné pojmy ako kontaminácia, influenčná funkcia alebo bod zlyhania. Potom sa venujeme M-, L- a R-odhadom, kde ku každému uvádzame základné charakteristiky a niekoľko príkladov. Na záver sa venujeme simuláciám na dátach reálnych i generovaných.
