Analysis of selected designer drugs by Thin-Layer Chromatography

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza vybraných omamných a psychotropních látek ze skupiny tzv. designových drog metodou tenkovrstevné chromatografie. V úvodní části je stručný historický přehled drogové problematiky od přírodních látek k syntetickým designovým sloučeninám. Teoretická část je zaměřená na charakteristiku stimulačních drog, jejich účinky, rizika užívání a dále na charakteristiku syntetických derivátů ? tzv. designových drog, které byly vybrány k analýze. V teoretické části je rovněž zmíněna metoda tenkovrstevné chromatografie, její principy a použitelnost v toxikologické praxi. Praktická část zahrnuje postupy provedení práce chromatografie na tenké vrstvě, seznam látek, činidel a soustav, které byly použity, včetně porovnání jejich výhodnosti. Ve vybrané vyvíjecí soustavě byly stanoveny retardační faktory a tyto byly porovnávány s literárně tabelovanými hodnotami (Clark). Pro vybrané látky (?-PVP a mefedron) byla zjišťována citlivost metody. V závěru je provedeno zhodnocení výsledků práce.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is the analysis of selected drugs and psychotropic substances from the group of designer drugs by method of thin layer chromatography. The first part is about historical overview of the drug problem from natural substances to synthetic designer compounds. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of stimulant drugs, their effects and risks of taking on the characteristics of the synthetic derivatives, it means design drugs that were selected for analysis. In the theoretical part there is also mentioned the method of thin layer chromatography, its principles and application in toxicological practice. The practical part includes procedures of performance thin-layer chromatography, a list of substances, agents and systems that have been used, including a comparison of their usefulness. In selected developing system there were set retarding factors, and these factors were compared with literature values tabulated (Clark). For selected substances (?-PVP and mephedrone) there was measured sensitivity of the method. In the end there are the results of the evaluation thesis.
