The personality of Emile Henry within the anarchist movement in France in the late 19th century

Abstract:

Práce se zaobírá osobou anarchisty Emila Henryho. Popisuje jak jeho život, tak jeho myšlenky využívajíc přitom převážně jeho vlastní texty. Spolu s nákresem francouzské společnosti konce 19. století se stává sondou do problematiky anarchismu, sociálního radikalismu, terorismu konce 19. století a doktríny propagandy činem, jíž byl Henry originálním představitelem svým radikálně individualistickým pojetím. Práce tak umožňuje lépe pochopit historické jevy konce 19. století.

Abstract:

The work deals with the personality of the anarchist Emile Henry. It describes as well his life as his ideas, predominantly by using his his own texts. Along with a layout of the late 19th century french society it becames a probe in the issue of the anarchism, the social radicalism, the late 19th century terrorism and the doctrine of propaganda of the deed, which Henry was the original representative by his radical individualistic conception. The work allows to better understand the historic phenomenons of the late 19th century.
