Abstract:
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the prohibition era in the USA in the 1920s and 1930s and looks into the rise and fall of one of the most famous gangsters ever, Al Capone, who figured during this era. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to analyse how American society reacted to prohibition and gangsters and to show Al Capone from another perspective. Gangsters are viewed only as pure evil.
