Nursing process for patients with degenerative disease of the cervical spine

Abstract:

Jako téma své bakalářské práce jsem zvolila ošetřovatelský proces u nemocného s degenerativním onemocněním krční páteře. V části teoretické jsem se věnovala anatomii krční páteře a přilehlých struktur. Popsala biomechaniku a fyziologii páteře. Zabývala se příčinami a příznaky tohoto onemocnění, diagnostickými a léčebnými postupy. Zmínila se o ošetřovatelské péči o nemocné v intraoperačním období. V části praktické jsem použila kvalitativní výzkum formou dvou kazuistik. První kazuistika se zabývá pacientkou operovanou předním přístupem ke krční páteři a druhá kazuistika pacientem operovaným přístupem zadním. Formou ošetřovatelského procesu jsem zhodnotila problémy pacientů v pooperačním období, zpracovala ošetřovatelský plán a doplnila potřebnou edukací. Porovnala jsem ošetřovatelské problémy u těchto pacientů. Zmapovala jsem nejčastější komplikace v pooperační péči a zpracovala předoperační a pooperační manuál o nemocné s degenerativním onemocněním krční páteře.

Abstract:

part I focused on the anatomy of the cervical spine and adjacent structures. I described the biomechanics and the physiology As a topic of my thesis I chose the nursing process of patients with a degenerative disease of the cervical spine. In the theoretical of the spine. I dealt with the causes and symptoms of the disease, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. I mentioned nursing care of patients in the intraoperative period. In the practical part of the thesis I have used a qualitative research through two case studies. The first case study deals with a client who was operated using anterior approach to the cervical spine while the second case study describes a client who was operated using posterior approach to the cervical spine. I assessed the problems of both clients in the postoperative period in the form of nursing process, I have created the care plan and added the necessary education. I compared the nursing problems of these two clients. I mapped the most common complications in postoperative care and I have created preoperative and postoperative manual for patients with degenerative disease of the cervical spine.
