Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vztahy mezi původními obyvateli Severní Ameriky a anglickými kolonisty v 17. století v Nové Anglii. Práce ukazuje události v širším kontextu a popisuje vývoj vzájemných vztahů. Zaměřuje se na konflikty mezi oběma kulturami a na jejich dopad na osadníky i původní obyvatele dané oblasti.
Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with the relations between Native Americans and English colonists in the 17th century New England. It puts the events into a broader context and describes the development of the relations. The thesis focuses on conflicts between both cultures and their impact on the lives of both the settlers and Native Americans of the region.
