Architecture of Sokol´s Gyms in the Eastern Bohemia
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce představuje nástin sokolské architektury ve východních Čechách, vzniklé převážně v meziválečném období. Po vyložení zásadních okamžiků v historii samotného spolku Sokol se práce zaměřuje na stavbu budov a na představení architektury zpracovaných sokolských tělocvičen, které slouží i jako průřez slohy dané doby.
Abstract:
This bachelor presents the outline of the Sokol´s architecture in Eastern Bohemia, arising mainly in the interwar period. After unloading the crucial moments in the history of this association Sokol work focuses on the construction of buildings and the performance architectures processed Sokol´s gyms, which serves as a cross-section of styles of the time.
