Slovak-Austrian Cultural Transfer in the Area of Historically Awarded Performance Practice and Its Resulting in the Project Accentus Musicalis

Abstract:

The master thesis "Slovak-Austrian Cultural Transfer in the Area of Historically Awarded Performance Practice and Its Resulting in the Project Accentus Musicalis" bears with knowledge’s and know-how’s exchange in the area of preserving and cultivating the Early Music’s Performance Practice in the cross-border Slovak-Austrian region which is realised within the two years bilateral project Accentus Musicalis. The core of the thesis is divided into five sections. First of it bears with the Performance Practice´s terminological definition as well as studies the history and development of the European Early Music’s Movement. The following part is territorially defined and reflects the history of Slovakian and Austrian Early Music’s Movement and its cultural position in the both countries. The last three chapters of the core of the thesis present the cross-border project Accentus Musicalis as well as the results of the two Accentus Musicalis sociological researches specialised on knowing the respondent’s attitude to Early Music’s Performance Practice and the need of the preservation of Slovak-Austrian cultural music heritage.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca "Slovensko-rakúsky kultúrny transfer v oblasti historicky poučenej interpretácie starej hudby a jeho vyústenie v projekte Accentus Musicalis" sa zaoberá výmenou skúsenosti a know-how vo sfére pestovania predvádzacej praxe starej hudby v cezhraničnom regióne Slovenska a Rakúska, ktorá je realizovaná v rámci dvojročného bilaterálneho projektu Accentus Musicalis. Jadro práce je členené do piatich kapitol. Jeho úvodná kapitola sa zaoberá terminologickým vymedzením pojmu "Auffűhrungspraxis" a počiatkami pestovania historicky poučenej interpretácie v Európe. Následne vyústi do teritoriálne vymedzenej kapitoly, ktorá skúma reflexiu vlastných dejín "Auffűhrungspraxis" a jej súčasné postavenie na slovenskej a rakúskej kultúrnej scéne. Posledné tri kapitoly jadra predkladanej práce prezentujú koncept cezhraničného projektu Accentus Musicalis a výsledky dvoch sociologických výskumov Accentus Musicalis zameraných na poznávanie vzťahu respondenta k potrebe pestovania historicky poučenej interpretácie starej hudby a uchovávania vzájomného slovensko-rakúskeho kultúrneho dedičstva.
