Developmental characteristics of drugs influence on society with a focus on World War II and beyond

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojovou charakteristikou drog na našem území do roku 1989 a během II. světové války v nacistickém Německu. Jedná se o faktografickou studii, která ve stručnosti popisuje vývoj drog v historickém kontextu a blíže se zaměřuje zejména na období II. světové války na našem území a na území tehdejšího Německa, vzhledem k historické spojitosti obou zemí. Teoretická část práce uvádí historické mezníky, které měly vliv na vývoj drog, na jejich využití i zneužití. V práci jsou zmíněna zejména období po I. světové válce v Československu, v průběhu II. světové války s důrazem na Německo a následné období po skončení II. světové války v Československu. Toto zaměření se týká i vývoje legislativy, která reagovala na dění v oblasti drog. V praktické části bude použita metoda ankety, která napomůže k zodpovězení předem stanovených výzkumných otázek. Cílem praktické části je zjistit povědomí dvou věkově odlišných skupin o dané problematice a následná komparace výsledků.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis presents the developmental characteristics of drugs in our territory until 1989 and during the World War II in Nazi Germany. This is a factual study that briefly describes the development of drugs in a historical context and focuses in more detail on period of World War II in our territory and in the territory of Germany, due to the historical connection between the two countries. The theoretical part of this thesis presents historical milestones that have influenced the development of drugs and its abuse. The thesis mentions especially the period after World War I in Czechoslovakia, during World War II with emphasis on Germany and the subsequent period after the end of World War II in Czechoslovakia. My focus also applies to the development of legislation that has responded to developments in the field of drugs. In the practical part, the method of survey will be used, which will help to answer predetermined research questions. The aim of the practical part is to find out the awareness of two age-different groups about the issue and the subsequent comparison of results.
