Bills and their implication in the financial market

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na směnky, jejich úlohu a četnost jejich používání v současné době. V práci je uvedena historie, vývoj, charakteristika, dělení a náležitosti směnek. Pozornost je věnována také úkonům a údajům se směnkou spojeným. V práci jsou popsáni účastníci směnečných vztahů. Další kapitola je věnována problémům s nezaplacením směnky dlužníkem, jsou zde vysvětleny způsoby nakládání se směnkou v takovém případě a možnosti vymáhání směnečných práv. Poslední kapitola je věnována směnečným produktům, které v současné době banky nabízejí a používání směnek v podnikatelské sféře. Tyto poznatky byly získávány osobním jednáním a rozsáhlou dotazníkovou akcí. Jsou zde charakterizovány, podmínky poskytování směnek a jejich výhody a nevýhody. Z práce vyplývá, že směnky se v bankovním sektoru používají v současné době jen v omezeném rozsahu a jejich rozšíření v podnikatelské sféře je stále menší.

Abstract:

This work is focused on bills, their role and frequency of their use nowadys. History, development, characteristics, categories of bills can be found in this thesis. Attention is given to actions and data related to the use of bills. Parties to transactions with bills are described. Further chapter is concerned with problems arising from non-payment of the bill by the debtor, methods of handling the bill in this case and options how to enforce rights of the parties. The last chapter covers products of bills transactions offered by banks now and use of bills in business. These facts have been obtained by personal dealings and by means of an extensive questionnaire. Conditions of providing bills, their advantages and disadvanteges are characterized here. It results from the thesis that at present the use of bills in banking sphere is limited and their application in entreprenerial sector is diminishing.
