Development of communication skills in a girl with special educational needs

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem rozvoje komunikačních schopností u dívky se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami v předškolním věku. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Dívce v šetření bylo diagnostikováno sluchové postižení, posléze porucha autistického spektra, a také vzácná genetická delece. Teoretická východiska přibližují význam a vývoj komunikace, dále objasňují poruchy autistického spektra a možnosti podpory a terapií u dětí s PAS. Následně je rozebrán význam a vývoj sluchu, specifika sluchového postižení a logopedická intervence u dítěte se sluchovým postižením. Podrobněji se práce věnuje problematice diagnostiky sluchového postižení spolu s PAS, nastíněn je také genetický původ postižení a Waardenburgův snydrom. Praktickou část práce tvoří výzkumné šetření kvalitativního charakteru. Hlavním cílem bylo zaznamenání rozvoje v komunikaci z hlediska jazykových rovin, dále analýza logopedických a vzdělávacích metod, kterých dívka využívá, a také pohled rodičů na proces diagnostiky a dívčina vývoje.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the development of communication skills in girl with special educational needs in preschool age. back The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The girl under investigation was diagnosed with hearing impairment, then an autism spectrum disorder, as well as a rare genetic deletion. Theoretical background describes the importance and development of communication, further clarifies the disorders of the autism spectrum and the possibilities of support and therapy for children with ASD. Subsequently, the importance and development of hearing, the specifics of hearing impairment and speech therapy intervention in a child with hearing impairment are discussed. The work deals in more detail with the issue of diagnostics of hearing impairment together with PAS, the genetic origin of the impairment and Waardenburg's syndrom are also outlined. The practical part of the work consists of a research investigation of a qualitative nature. The main goal was record the development in communication in terms of language levels, as well as the analysis of speech therapy and educational methods used by the girl, as well as the parents' view of the diagnostic process and the girl's development.
