Diplomová práce se skládá z teoretické, praktické a didaktické části. Teoretická část popisuje vývoj ilustrací, rozdělení dětských ilustrací a představuje rešerši současných ilustrátorů. V praktické části lze nalézt děj vybrané knihy Most do země Terabithia, informace o její autorce, porovnání knižní a filmové adaptace. Abstract:
The thesis consists of a theoretical, practical and didactic part. The theoretical part describes the development of illustrations, the distribution of children's illustrations and presents a search for contemporary illustrators.
